Wasted Pages presents Life and Death
May 17 @ 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Wasted Pages Writing Workshop presents Life and Death. Spend six weekly sessions meeting and sharing work with other local writers who are concerned with mortality, what it all means, and everything in between. It’s all prose, all the time in this writing workshop for fiction and non-fiction.
Whether you’re an old friend or looking for a new writing community, we’d love to have you. Workshops are on Thursdays beginning on 05/10 and following on 05/17, 05/24, 05/31, 06/07, and 06/14. This workshop will be led by Led facilitators Alyssa West and Shane Jones, both alums of the Wasted Pages!
These workshops are an open-format geared toward aspiring and experienced writers. Participants submit their work for commentary and critique from the group. The workshop is a community that supports expression, experimentation, and the free exchange of ideas. We aim to provide a resource for writers interested in publishing their work, or in making their work publishable, and to create lasting friendships among writers in Chicago.
Workshop fee is $30. Payment is for all sessions. Registration closes on 5/6. Secure your spot by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Payment via paypal. No refunds after the first day of class.
